Fish Hawk Wing | Modern Dance: Bend, Oregon, United States; Fish Hawk Wing | Modern Dance was founded in Bend, Oregon in 2008 in order to create, perform, and teach modern dance and dance improvisation in our Central Oregon community. Fish Hawk Wing seeks to advance the visibility and accessibility of modern dance in our area for the benefit of the local community and also to enhance Central Oregon's reputation as an artistic destination resort area. Our dance company will utilize its resources for the betterment of the community by working with charitable and educational organizations and by using dance as a catalyst for progressive social change. Under the directorship of Bonnie Walker, Fish Hawk Wing | Modern Dance has performed locally at First Friday and Last Thursday Art Walks, the COCC "Word Cafe", and the Central Oregon Dance Showcase as well as the Bend Dance Project "Spectrum" in 2009. If you are in charge of booking entertainment for a festival or fund raiser in Central Oregon or if you are interested in a dance workshop for your event or organization, please contact us for more information.
